This was the headquarters where Japan planned, organized and carried out germ warfare during World War II. Unit 731 implemented a systematic program of war crimes, conducting numerous brutal human experiments to develop and produce a range of biological weapons. Inside the exhibition hall documenting Unit 731's violations, faded and incomplete evidence – along with disturbing "special transfer" files – stands as a silent witness to the inhuman atrocities committed here more than eight decades ago.
