“全国自强模范”王戟研究员13岁便考入国防科技大学计算机系；33岁，成为研究员；38岁，获国家杰出青年科学基金。如果将王戟的人生看作江河的话，可以说是混混沄沄似悬河泻水。2013年王戟失去双腿之后，他没有选择停下脚步，而是带病继续披挂上阵，2015年又牵头申请了国防973项目，带领团队攻克众多难关。

他深耕高可信软件领域，不怕难、不怕苦，表现出极高的学术带头能力；他常驻三尺杏坛之上，精心设计了高可信软件工程的系列课程，亲自参与研究生课程的设计与讲授，展示出极高的春风化雨的育人境界。虽然王戟只是坐在轮椅上，但是他的精神意志似丹崖翠壁、万仞高山，可谓是立地顶天岂止貌，丹心赤血从来骄。银河骑士有奇志，更造琼楼百尺高。
