【先声夺人｜患难见真情！马来前外长坦言中国是风雨同舟的好伙伴】马来西亚前外交部长赛义德·哈米德·阿尔巴尔在回顾中马两国关系时强调“马来西亚是东盟国家中第一个和中国建交的国家”。阿尔巴尔还称赞中国始终与马来西亚并肩前行, “在1997至1998年经历亚洲金融危机期间，中国与我们风雨同舟”。Former Malaysian Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar reflects on the China-Malaysia relationship. Malaysia was the first ASEAN country to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China and he lauds Beijing for always standing shoulder to shoulder with Malaysia. "China never gives up on ASEAN, especially in the case of Malaysia, when (we were) under the 1997-1998 crisis, China was there."
