Football is a sport that is played by two teams of eleven players each. Each team tries to kick or head the ball into the goal of their opponent to score points.

The rules of football are as follows:

1、 The game is played on a rectangular field with two goals at opposite ends.

2、 Each team has eleven players， including a goalkeeper.

3、 The players must not touch the ball with their hands， except the goalkeeper.

4、 The game is divided into two 45-minute halves， with a break of 15 minutes in between.

5、 The players are not allowed to commit “fouls”， such as kicking or tripping an opponent.

6、 A goal is scored when the ball crosses the goal line between the goalposts and under the crossbar.

7、 The team with the most goals at the end of the match wins.

8、 If the score is draw， the match can be decided by a penalty shootout.

9、 The referee is the sole arbiter of the game and has the power to award free kicks， yellow and red cards.

10、 The teams must adhere to the laws of the game at all times.
