应国务院总理李强邀请，新加坡总理黄循财将于6月22日至26日对中国进行正式访问。

At the invitation of Premier of the State Council Li Qiang, Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong will pay an official visit to China from June 22 to 26.

总台央视记者：中方刚刚发布了新加坡总理黄循财将对华进行正式访问的消息。能否介绍此访安排？中方如何评价当前中新关系？对此访有何期待？

CCTV: To follow up on your announcement of Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s upcoming official visit to China, can you brief us on the schedule of the visit? What’s China’s assessment of its current relations with Singapore and what does China expect to achieve through the visit?

郭嘉昆：黄循财总理5月就职后将中国作为东盟外首访国家，充分体现了对发展中新关系的高度重视。访问期间，习近平主席将会见黄循财总理，李强总理、赵乐际委员长将分别同他举行会谈会见，双方将就中新关系和共同关心的国际和地区问题深入交换意见。

Guo Jiakun: Prime Minister Lawrence Wong chose China as the destination of his first trip to a non-ASEAN country after he took office in May, which speaks volumes about the high importance he attaches to developing China-Singapore relations. During the visit, President Xi Jinping will meet with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Premier Li Qiang and Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Zhao Leji will hold talks and meet with him respectively. The two sides will have in-depth exchanges of views on China-Singapore relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest.

中国和新加坡是友好近邻和重要合作伙伴。在两国领导人战略引领下，中新关系保持良好发展势头。两国领导人2023年确立了全方位高质量的前瞻性伙伴关系定位，为新时期中新关系发展指明了方向。今年是中新建交35周年。中方期待通过此访，同新方进一步加强战略沟通，深化各领域交流合作，携手维护多边主义和自由贸易，推动中新关系在新的起点上实现更大发展，为地区和世界的发展繁荣作出更大贡献。

China and Singapore are friendly neighbors and important cooperation partners. Under the strategic guidance of leaders of the two countries, China-Singapore relations have maintained a sound momentum of growth. Our two countries’ leaders in 2023 elevated bilateral relations to an all-round high-quality future-oriented partnership, setting the direction for developing China-Singapore relations in the new era. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of this bilateral relationship. China hopes that through the upcoming visit, the two sides will further enhance strategic communication, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and jointly uphold multilateralism and free trade, achieve even more progress in our bilateral ties from a new starting point and make greater contributions to regional and global development and prosperity.

路透社记者：欧洲国家外长将于今天同伊朗外长会晤，俄罗斯总统普京昨天表示莫斯科愿意在以色列和伊朗间进行斡旋。中方希望由谁来主导斡旋？北京会提出相关方案吗？

Reuters: European foreign ministers will meet with their Iranian counterpart today while Russia’s President Vladimir Putin yesterday said Moscow would be willing to mediate between Israel and Iran. Who would China like to see lead this effort and will Beijing put forward a proposal?

郭嘉昆：以色列发动对伊朗的军事行动后，中方开展了积极的外交行动，同包括伊朗、以色列在内的各方保持沟通，推动紧张局势尽快降温，防止地区陷入更大动荡。昨天，习近平主席在同普京总统通话时，就当前事态提出四点主张，系统阐明了中方有关立场。

Guo Jiakun: Since Israel started military strikes on Iran, China has engaged in active diplomacy, including maintaining communication with Iran and Israel and other parties, to seek deescalation as quickly as possible and prevent the region from spiraling into greater turmoil. President Xi Jinping in yesterday’s phone call with President Putin made a four-point proposal regarding the ongoing situation and articulated China’s position.

武力不是解决国际争端的正确方式，地区局势升温不符合国际社会共同利益。当务之急是携手推动停火止战。中方愿继续同地区国家和国际社会一道努力，为尽快恢复中东地区和平稳定发挥建设性作用。

Military force is not the right way to resolve international disputes and escalation in the region does not serve the common interest of the international community. The biggest imperative is to work together to bring about a ceasefire. China stands ready to continue working with regional countries and the international community to play a constructive role in restoring peace and stability in the Middle East at an early date.

路透社记者：台湾地区领导人赖清德周四要求防务和安全部门加强针对中国军队活动的监控和情报工作。他表示，即便中东局势紧张加剧，这些活动也没有减弱。发言人对此有何评论？

Reuters: Taiwan’s Lai Ching-te on Thursday ordered defense and security units to step up their monitoring and intelligence efforts in response to China’s military activities, which he said have not abated even as tensions rise in the Middle East. Do you have any comment on this?

郭嘉昆：民进党当局又在“蹭热点”。无论他们说什么做什么，都改变不了台湾是中国一部分的事实，改变不了中国终将统一、也必将统一的大势。“以武谋独”注定失败。

Guo Jiakun: The DPP authorities just won’t pass up any chance of newsjacking. Yet no matter what they say or do, they cannot change the fact that Taiwan is part of China, nor can they change the inevitability of China’s reunification. To seek independence through military build-up will not succeed.

法新社记者：美国总统特朗普将给予字节跳动90天宽限期，以便将TikTok出售给美国所有者。发言人对此有何回应？

AFP: A question on Donald Trump. The U.S. President will give ByteDance an additional 90 days to sell TikTok to an American owner. What’s your reaction to this?

郭嘉昆：关于涉TikTok问题，中方已多次阐明原则立场，将依据中国的法律法规处理相关问题。

Guo Jiakun: On TikTok, China has stated its principled position more than once. We will continue to handle relevant issue in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations.

《北京日报》记者：日前，世界银行发布报告显示，2025年初中国经济保持增长势头，中国政府为应对全球贸易不确定性采取了相应的货币和财政政策。不久前摩根大通、高盛等国际机构也纷纷上调中国经济增长预期。请问发言人对此有何评论？

Beijing Daily: A recent report released by the World Bank shows that China’s economy maintained growth momentum in early 2025, and in response to global trade uncertainty, the government has implemented accommodative monetary and fiscal policies. Recently international institutions, such as J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs, have also revised up China’s growth prospects. What is your comment?

郭嘉昆：面对复杂的外部环境，中国经济顶压前行，稳中有进，向优向新，展现出强大韧性和发展潜力，成为推进世界经济的“稳定源”，共享发展机遇的“引力场”。今年前5个月，中国货物进出口总值同比增长2.5％，社会消费品零售总额增长5％，外国人来华消费更是火热升温，离境退税新政实施首月全国离境退税笔数同比增长116％，免签来中国将成为暑期出游热门选择。事实证明，中国经济长期向好的基本面不会变，超大规模市场和完整产业体系优势不会变，高质量发展和高水平对外开放的政策取向不会变，这是国际社会持续看好中国、抢滩中国、深耕中国的信心之源。我们将坚定不移扩大开放，积聚新动能，提供新机遇，以自身稳定发展为各国共同发展带来更多利好，注入更强动能。

Guo Jiakun: China’s economy has forged steadily ahead, achieved high-quality growth and fostered new growth points amid a complex external environment, demonstrating strong resilience and potential. It is now a stabilizer for the world economy and a magnet for sharing development opportunities. In the first five months of this year, China’s total imports and exports of goods increased by 2.5 percent year on year, and the total retail sales of consumer goods went up 5 percent. Shopping in China has become a buzzing trend among foreign travelers. In the first month after the policy of departure tax refunds was rolled out, applications for departure tax refunds across the country surged by 116 percent year on year. Traveling to China visa free is expected to be a popular choice during the summer holiday. Facts have shown that the fundamentals of China’s long-term economic growth remain unchanged, the strengths of our mega-size market and complete industrial system remain unchanged, and our policy of pursuing high-quality development and high-standard opening up remains unchanged. This is the source of the world’s confidence in China’s growth forecast and their determination to invest in China and further explore China’s market. We will remain firmly committed to opening our market wider to the world, foster new driving forces, create new opportunities, and enable the world to benefit from China’s steady growth and draw impetus for common development.

法新社记者：一名中国留学生因强奸罪在伦敦法院被判处终生监禁。中方对此有何回应？

AFP: A Chinese student has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a London court for raping. What’s China’s response?

郭嘉昆：中国政府一贯要求海外中国公民遵守当地法律法规，不从事任何形式的违法犯罪活动。

Guo Jiakun: The Chinese government always asks Chinese nationals overseas to observe local laws and regulations and not to engage in any illegal or criminal activities.

彭博社记者：台湾方面称，过去24小时内，共有46架解放军军机越过台湾海峡中线。请问中方开展这些活动的原因是什么？这是否与英国和日本军舰过航台海或者美国国会议员近期访台有关？

Bloomberg: According to authorities in Taiwan, in the past 24 hours, 46 PLA planes crossed the median line in the Strait. What is China’s reason for these flights? Does it have anything to do with the British and Japanese naval vessels that went through the Strait or with the visit of U.S. congressmen to Taiwan recently?

郭嘉昆：台湾问题事关中国主权和领土完整。中方尊重各国依法在台湾海峡相关海域享有的航行权利，但坚决反对任何国家以“航行自由”为名挑衅、威胁中国主权安全。

Guo Jiakun: The Taiwan question bears on China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. China respects countries’ lawful right to navigation in relevant waters of the Taiwan Strait, but firmly opposes any country making provocations or threatening China’s sovereignty and security in the name of freedom of navigation.

法新社记者：欧盟委员会决定将中国公司排除在超过500万欧元的医疗设备政府采购之外。欧方称这是对中国限制在华欧洲公司的回应。中方对此有何评论？

AFP: So the European Commission has decided to exclude Chinese companies from public tenders for some medical equipment, actually tenders which are over 5 million euros. The EU Commission says it’s a response to Chinese restrictions on European companies in China. I wonder if you have any reaction to this decision.

郭嘉昆：有关具体问题建议向中方主管部门询问。我想指出的是，中方始终坚持高水平对外开放，坚持维护市场经济原则和世贸规则，主张通过对话磋商解决贸易争端。欧盟一贯标榜是“全球最开放的市场”，但事实上一步步走向保护主义，动辄付诸单边经贸工具，以“公平竞争”之名行“不公平竞争”之实，是典型的双重标准。

Guo Jiakun: I’d refer you to competent authorities for specifics. What I would like to point out is that China is committed to high-standard opening-up, upholding the principles of market economy and WTO rules, and solving trade disputes through dialogue and consultation. The EU claims to be one of the most open markets in the world, but in reality has been inching towards protectionism, frequently resorting to unilateral trade tools, and competing unfairly in the name of fair competition. This is typical double standard.

希望欧方恪守市场开放承诺和世贸组织规则，为中国企业提供公平、透明、非歧视的营商环境，推动中欧经贸关系健康稳定发展。中方将坚决维护中国企业的正当合法权益。

We hope the EU will observe its commitment to an open market and WTO rules, provide Chinese companies with a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory business environment, and work for sound and steady China-EU trade ties. China will firmly safeguard the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of Chinese companies.

彭博社记者：你刚才提到中国将坚定不移扩大开放，为各国共同发展带来更多利好。我们看到，前5个月中国进口出现下降。请问中方将如何让其他国家受益于中国经济的发展？

Bloomberg: Just before when you were talking about the economy, you said that China will continue to open up and all nations will be able to benefit from the continued opening up and growth of the Chinese economy. Can you explain to me the method or the means by which other nations will be able to benefit from China’s economy when Chinese imports continue to fall through May?

郭嘉昆：关于你提到的具体贸易问题，建议向中方主管部门进行询问。我想强调的是，中方始终坚持高水平对外开放，欢迎更多的国外企业来华提供符合要求的技术、产品和服务。我们始终坚定支持经济全球化、推动构建开放型世界经济，这一立场没有改变，也不会改变。

Guo Jiakun: On anything specific about trade, I’d refer you to competent authorities. Let me stress that China is committed to high-standard opening-up and welcomes more foreign companies to China to supply technologies, products and services that meet the requirements. We firmly support economic globalization and an open world economy. This position has not and will not change.
