在全球化的今天，文化的传播与交流显得尤为重要。18日，第五届“用英语讲中国故事”福建省颁奖典礼在福州第一中学举行。来自全省各地的参赛选手、指导教师、专家评委及嘉宾齐聚一堂，共同见证福建青年用英语讲述中国故事、传播中华文化的风采与实力。
伴随着一声闽南语“早上好”的问候，福建省第一位外籍永久居民潘维廉教授用轻松幽默的语调，开启了他《讲好福建故事，共建人类命运共同体》的主题演讲，现场引起阵阵笑语掌声。潘维廉是中国政府“友谊奖”获得者、厦门大学美籍教授，他希望青年朋友要讲好中国故事、传播福建声音，这是文化自信的重要体现，也是构建中国话语体系的重要途径。（记者 谭湘竹）
